Thanks For Stopping By

As I said in my profile, I am an adult, opinionated, American man, writing under a pseudonym for reasons that are my own.  I hope that you enjoy reading my posts and that they can generate some intelligent discussion.  At the current time, there is a lot going on in this country that is generating a lot of discussion.  This is what prompted me to give this a try.  In the near future I plan on taking the opportunity to click about all of them that I feel enough about to have an opinion.

I truly hope that this will help me more than anyone else.  I expect to research most of my opinions, so that I know what I am typing about before I do it.  That’s kind of the point, right?  I can’t guarantee that I will source all of my information, sometimes I won’t want to give the source the credit they might deserve (I’m not above a little pettiness), but you can probably find the stuff on your own.

I’m not the most technologically advanced guy on the planet, but I can get around.  This is my first attempt at this, so there will be a learning curve, bear with me.

My interests are varied, so the topics will reflect that.  As I said, the impetus for me to start this are mostly political in nature, current events being mostly political.  I enjoy reading, many types of music, most sports, almost all movies and other random things that come and go in my life.  While I imagine that most of my posts will be political in nature related to current events, don’t be surprised if other things are touched on occasionally as well.

I hope that you enjoy my posts, but odds are that even if you do, I’ll piss you off at some point.  Nobody can agree all the time, it happens.  If it’s a problem, I encourage you to move on to one of the millions of other blogs out there.  As a matter of fact, if you aren’t reading several points of view, then shame on you.  Believe it or not, no matter which side you’re on, the other side has smart people too and sometimes they make a point that you should begrudgingly respect and possibly even accept.   Very few things are cut and dry, no matter how passionately you may feel about it.
