The American Public and Security

So, just to prove my point about the Vegas shootings, I see a post whining about the lines outside of a sporting event.  The complaint was that the security is generally too tight.  This was my point about the only possible ways to stop the Vegas incident to begin with.

Our society in general is not prepared to allow the security professionals to do their jobs.  They are good with it, as long as it’s not an inconvenience to them.  It’s ridiculous.

If you want to avoid the type of security that you see overseas, then you need to endure the farce that is our security here in the states without compaint.  Soon enough, something will happen here at home that will cause the stadiums, teams and bands to start to push for true security and then we will have truly invasive security.  No one wants that, but if what we have now is too much, then it’s going to happen in response to what we already don’t do.

Short and sweet tonight folks.  As always, thanks for participating.
